REPORT - ENCAPSULATION WITHOUT HOT WORKS USING ENVIROWRAP NEW TENSIONING SYSTEM

In 2008, a breakthrough in installation techniques was achieved by EnviroWrap Technical Services & Development team. It is no longer a requirement to use the traditional Gas Fired or Electric Heat Guns to weld and tighten the sheeting around a structure.
EnviroWrap developed a new sheeting range which provides excellent stretch and tensioning properties which enables the EnviroWrap Sheeting to be installed on Live Plant Environments without the risk of fire or explosion, by stretching and tensioning the sheeting over the structure and securing the Joints and Seams with a special High Grip Adhesive Containments, Shelters and Protective Encapsulations can be obtained without the need for any Hot-Work Operations.

TEST REPORT - SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES

12th April 2005

On January the 14th January 2005 we placed a control sample of EnviroWrap® in a deep freezer at -21 C.

The control sample had been attached to a frame 60cm x 100cm and heat shrunk. It was then placed in the freezer for 12 weeks. When removed from the freezer the control sample was stored at room temperature for 48 hours.

On inspection the control sample showed no signs of deterioration either within the sealed / welded zones or within the main surface of the sheeting. Basic impact tests were also carried out to the surface area which indicated that the high impact resistance inherent within EnviroWrap® products were retained.

This test was carried out for EnviroWrap clients who operate within the Eastern Block Countries.
