SAFETY, HEALTH, WELFARE & ENVIRONMENT POLICY STATEMENT

It is the policy of the board of directors of the company and its subsidiaries, that all operations are carried out in such a way as to ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, the health & safety of all their employees, and have nominated the undersigned to control and guide the companies policy in these matters. 

It is the board’s continuing aim to promote, continually improve and maintain a high standard of safety by providing information, training, instruction, safe places of work, safe systems of working, and by proper maintenance, care and attention to all plant, equipment and materials to minimise personal injuries and safeguard the health of their employees and other persons, property and the environment. 

In pursuance of this policy, a safety manual has been produced and distributed to line management and supervisors, setting out the responsibilities of the various levels of management, and those of all employees. 

The manual, which details the procedures to be adopted to ensure a safe and healthy working environment, is continually under review, and will be amended not less than every 3 years or from time to time to comply with any new legislation or codes of practice which may be issued. 

The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of the company directors, including heads of specialist divisions or departments, project managers, project engineers and supervisors.
